    Text Halfway Down Page

    Does anyone know why on this site: http://www.trinitynky.org
    The text appears halfway down the page, only on IE7? It's fine in IE8, Firefox, and Safari. If I need to post any other details, please let me know.

    Hello joshmccord,
    Your box model is off, drastically.

    Your .content-repeat is 964px wide
    You stuff 984px wide #content in there (margin/padding/border all count in figuring total width)
    in #content you have 375px wide .sidebar
    and 590px wide .content-left-holder
    but the total available width inside #content is only 959px.

    A good visual explanation would be to add a background color to #content.
    Try this -
    Code:
    .content {
    	width: 959px;
    	float: left;
    	padding-left: 25px;
    	background: #f00 url(images/content.png) no-repeat;
    }
    Anyway, all that is contributing to the float drop your seeing in IE7. If you put different background colors on .content-left-holder and .sidebar , you can see how it's dropped.

    Validate often DURING development - Use it like a splelchecker | Debug during Development |Write it for FireFox, ignore IE
    Use the right DocType | Validate your markup | Validate your CSS | Why validating is good | Why tables are bad
