    if statements

    hello,

im working on a new website. i know somewhat of java which they taught me in high school. im very interested in learning about if statements in html. is there any code i can use which will randomly pick a statement to display out of a list i create. im talking more specifically about arrays and arraylists and printing out these statements. is there any way i could do that in html?

there is no "if statements" in html.

you can have them in javascript or in php, jsp, asp or any other programing language.

HTML is just a markup language...not a programming language.

so control statements, operators, variables in html... only attributes and values necessary for formatting.
