    Class element not showing

    Hi there,

    In my HTML code all of the below is appearing in green when i preview the web page and view source........ i scroll down to the bottom and see the text is all green? But on the other pages it is all fine.

    Does anyone know why?

    This results in my copyright info at the bottom of the page not showing when i preview it in the browser (firefox).

    Code:
     <!----------------body text events ends-------------------------->

            <br style="clear:both" />

                <div class="copyright">

       	    <a href="#" target="_blank">&copy;Copyright  | Website created by </a></div> <!--copyright ends-->

      </div><!-------------------main content ends----------------->
    The HTML code of the other page below is working fine....

    Code:
            </div><!--body text ******* ends-->

            <br style="clear:both" />

               <div class="copyright">

            	 <a href="#" target="_blank">&copy;Copyright  | Website created by

            </a></div>

    You could try stopping that ridiculous way of doing comments. It's confusing the browser: it doesn't know whether it's a comment or not, because a well-formed HTML comment is like this: <!-- -->

    If you want to make the comment stand out, use asterisks or something to pad it out, but not hyphens. I would, however, question the need to do this.

    Hello amlania,
    Have a look at the links about validation in my sig below. Also the suggestion about validating often in the same sig.

    These will help you.
    Validate often DURING development - Use it like a splelchecker | Debug during Development |Write it for FireFox, ignore IE
    Use the right DocType | Validate your markup | Validate your CSS | Why validating is good | Why tables are bad
