    Changed fixed height

    How do I change this homepage to add a couple of sentences underneath the header (Hello and Welcome)? The height is fixed and I can't remember how to change it so that it will grow with content instead of the content flowing on top of the bottom margin and out the bottom of the box.

    Thanks so much in advance!

    Hello Sculley,
    Good job on the valid code!

    To address your non expanding div issue, in your CSS file named default.css, remove the height from .homeSoulJourney as highlighted in red below:
    Code:
    .lcol2 {
        width:52%;
        float:left;
    	padding:0px 10px 0 0px;
    }
    .rcol2 {
        float:left;
        width:42%;
        padding:0px 0 0 30px;
    }
    .quote {
        text-align:right;
    }
    .quotebottom {
        font-size:1.2em;
    }
    .quotebottomt {
    	 font-size:1.2em;
    	 text-align:right;
    }
    .small {
    	font-size:12px;
    	font-style:italic;
    }
    .homeSoulJourney {
    	display:block;
    	float:left;
    	width:50%;
    	background: #A9C8DC;
    	/*height:473px;*/
    }
    .homeSoulJourneyText {
    	margin:1em 5em;
    	color:#333;
    	font-size:.8em;
    	line-height: .2em;
    }
    .homeSoulJourneyText a{
    	font-weight:bold;
    	text-decoration:underline;
    	color:#333;
    }
    .soulhello {
    	text-align:center;
    	font-weight:bold;
    }
    .soulbold {
    	font-weight:bold;
    }
    .soul {
    That will allow .homeSoulJourneyText to expand as much as you want it to.

    Have you seen this layout in IE6? I have not but it looks like your invoking an IE float bug or two...

    Thanks Excavator!

    I wish I could take credit for the code, but I can't

    Haven't seen it in IE 6. How do I fix the bugs?

    What do you use to see all version of IE?

    Like I said, I haven't seen it. All I have here is IE8/7 and FF3.5
    Have a look at browershots.org to get a screen cap in just about any browser you care to check it in.

    Thanks. Sorry...you said it looks like I'm invoking a float bug or two so thought you saw the fix.

    Thanks again!
