    html input text in unicode

    hi,
by default when we type anything in the input text element it will be in english but i want to change that to any other unicode style... so when i type in russian or hebrew or hindi then then respective language characters should appear instead of english... i dont want to use alt or i dont want to copy from any other converters... is there a way to do that???

How are you going to type in those languages? Have you configured your system to input characters in those languages? Are you trying to make an automatic transliteration tool like http://www.google.com/transliterate/indic ?

i t hought by default there would be an option

    hi abduraooft,
yeah one way of doing this is i can use transliteration. but i was wondering if there could be an option in html to input unicode by changing any attribute's value... anyway... if i could get other alternates from you then i can decide which one will be feasible for my code... for now if there is no other options other than googles transliteration then the only opiton is googles transliteration... if you could advice of any other option then that could be really nice of you... as per the clients request he wants to type in any language.... so better i go for transliteration ...

    thats nice

hi, thank you for the link... i will look into it... i have used googles transliteration for tamil which is my language to send email's... what i forgot was that google has not yet released like this for hebrew... i was thinking that there could be an option so i can use... but the real problem is the clients regional language setting is in hebrew and not english... so every thing that appears on his screen will be in hebrew... the controls, buttons and labels... when he types anything in the text box and when he sends email through that form the recipient should receive in hebrew. so i set the email mime header as charset=windows-1255 and has requested the client to test because i have US english language... hope you can understand... so what will be the solution?
