Question Working elements underneath transparent image?

    Hey all,

Simple problem (I hope): I have this banner in the top-right corner of my page:

I have defined an image map to set the hit zone. This works fine.

However, the image (a PNG file), is of course a square, and everything that falls within that square's area underneath the z-index of the image becomes inactive.

So the "contact us" button doesn't work, for example.

How do I have that banner in the top right without resizing or realigning anything and yet have the elements underneath it active? Is it even possible?

    Thanks.

Could you post a link to your page?
