    Possible to include an Insert into an Insert?

    Is it possible to include an insert in another .ins file?

    I usually call my inserts this way:
    <!--#include virtual="/news/current/news-links-1.ins"-->

    but if I put this insert into another .ins file it isn't calling the embedded insert.

    Is it possible?

    No this isn't possible, this type of include is normally where it is a static html website reading from .xxx files which contain content to make the client easier to edit.

    try using php.

    <?php include('your/file.php') ?>

    Providing you're server supports PHP this will work perfectly.
