    IE8 flash problem

    This code works fine in all other browsers than internet explorer.

    Code:
    <object align="left" data="http://e3.g4tv.com/lv3/38747" width="480" height="418" id="VideoPlayerLg38747" name="VideoPlayer" type="application/x-shockwave-flash">
    <param name="movie" value="http://e3.g4tv.com/lv3/38747">
    <param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always">
    <param name="allowFullScreen" value="true">
    </object>
    Can anyone help me out?

    Try using swfobject instead. It is a much better method to include flash.

    Your code would then look like this:
    Code:
    <script type="text/javascript" src="swfobject.js"></script>
    <div id="flashcontent">
      <!--stuff for non-flash enabled browsers here -->
    </div>
    <script type="text/javascript">
       	var so = new SWFObject("http://e3.g4tv.com/lv3/38747", "movie", "480", "418", "7", "#FFFFFF");
       	so.write("flashcontent");
    	</script>

    </head>
    <body>

    <script type="text/javascript" src="swfobject.js"></script>
    <div id="flashcontent">
      <!--stuff for non-flash enabled browsers here -->
    </div>
    <script type="text/javascript">
       	var so = new SWFObject("http://e3.g4tv.com/lv3/38747", "movie", "480", "418", "7", "#FFFFFF");

    Yea, I use an older version.

    For the 2.1, your code will look like this:
    Code:
    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">
    <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" lang="en" xml:lang="en">
    	<head>
    		<title>SWFObject 2 dynamic publishing example page</title>
    		<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" />
    		<script type="text/javascript" src="swfobject.js"></script>
    		<script type="text/javascript">
    		swfobject.embedSWF("http://e3.g4tv.com/lv3/38747", "myContent", "480", "418", "9.0.0", "expressInstall.swf");
    		</script>
    	</head>
    	<body>
    		<div id="myContent">
    			<h1>Alternative content</h1>
    			<p><a href="http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer"><img src="http://www.adobe.com/images/shared/download_buttons/get_flash_player.gif" alt="Get Adobe Flash player" /></a></p>
    		</div>
    	</body>
    </html>
