    Is this the sort of thing you mean.

    Click here.

    It always helps if you show us your code, so that we can see what you are aiming for.

    Code:
    var s = new Array();

    s[0] = "JSE^form.html^Enter JSE in the example above ...^open source, free, client side";
    s[1] = "JSE DOCUMENTATION^doc.txt^JSE is a client-side local site search engine. Written entirely in JavaScript ..^ faq, docs, instructions";
    s[2] = Testing^test.html^this is just a test file, testing 123^test, world";
    the above code is written in my .js file call test.js.
    so each time i want to search, the search function will go through the array and search through those words in orange. so im thinking if i can dynamically push the keywords, title into the array. but first i have to know how to grab the data.

    hmm, that's more of highlighting the words. i get what u are trying to show me. but im to do like a search engine, to search for html files in a folder.
    it will acts like any search engine, after searching it will display out etc.

    (3) results found.
    ____________________________________________
    Result a
    Result b

    and its to search by the html file indexes, so im thinking of how to do it.
    im able to do the search like the code i shown above, but im not able to do it dynamically.

    or any method to grab the html meta tags and input into js dynamic array?
