    Problem with alignment in IE

    Hello

I have created the following site from scratch (first attempt :S) and all appears to be ok except the main body of text appears slightly to far on the right in IE. It appears ok in firefox?

    Any help would be appreciated

It's OK in IE7, but not in IE6. I think you are the victim of the IE6 float doubled margin bug.

    Try adding

    Code:
    display:inline
    to your css for #left.

You've also got quite a lot of errors in your html, which you can view at the w3c validator. It'd be worth working through these. Don't panic when you look at this, it probably isn't quite as bad as it looks.

    Excellent

That worked perfect, thanks very much

Yep I have checked the HTML validation already and im gonna wait until the site is finished before correcting the errors. Most are where ive used dreamweaver to style the elements instead of adding it to the CSS.

    Cheers
