    Help for IE6 - stretched images, fixed elements...

    I have my new site looking as I want in FF and IE7. But as usual Im having trouble with IE6.

    Images are being stretched, text is being pushed down to off the page, fixed elements are scrolling.

    Could anyone offer advice to make it look a little easier on the eye? Im not too fused about it looking perfect in IE6 - I have added a message that appears if a user is using IE6 telling them they are using an outdated browser. But I would like to get it at least half decent!

    The link is http://tinyurl.com/dlb3ds

    Would appreciate any advice to improve look in IE6.

    Internet Explorer 6 is known to go into quirks mode when there is an xml prologue preceding the DOCTYPE. So just removing that may make a significant difference to the rendered appearance.

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
