a little help with very simple site?

    hi there,

I am an artist/musician looking to create a really simple site. I have the template already but im having trouble configulring it. I have it here as a zip file:

    www.kitwebster.com.au/public_html.zip

The problem I run into is on the 'music' page. I just dont know how to have the flash mp3 player and the images align correctly so it looks good. Previosly on my old website I just created layers and dropped the stuff in there.

This seems a little more professional and now im lost!

Any help would be really appreciated!

    Many thanks!!!

    hey kittt,

As just a suggestion i would try and get the site up live online. you dont have to make it public just give us a link. A lot of the coders here wont download a zip file, and most of the time its easy for us to check online and use our debugging tools. It could be some work using some CSS to get everything aligned.

So if possible can you get it up online?

    Hello kittt,
I'm afraid someone else is going to have to help you with tables. Normally, to get elements side by side you would float them.
Have a look at the link about tables in my sig below. While your at it, there is a link about DocTypes there too.
Validate often DURING development - Use it like a splelchecker | Debug during Development |Write it for FireFox, ignore IE
Use the right DocType | Validate your markup | Validate your CSS | Why validating is good | Why tables are bad
