Internet Explorer IE loads CSS slow?

When I click between my pages in IE 7 just for a split second I can see the page load without the css. It bugs the crap out of me. FF looks good. My brother checked it on his IE and said he did not notice it but idk it sure is noticeable on mine...

I have validated my code. I have tweeked this page for a while now and it has gone through many different looks. This is my second css attempt. Ideas?

looks the same on both browsers on first load, refresh on FF is better(no delayed load), seems FF puts something more in cache or something

    Hello InfinityBen,
What's your connection speed? It all loaded pretty much instantly for me but that is a 128KB for the header img, 241KB for the pickup/trailer ... even 31KB for the Texas img with the rw&b swirl is pretty heavy.
Could it be that second you see the unparsed code is while it's getting the images? I'm not sure...
Validate often DURING development - Use it like a splelchecker | Debug during Development |Write it for FireFox, ignore IE
Use the right DocType | Validate your markup | Validate your CSS | Why validating is good | Why tables are bad
