    Problem with Iframe/Flash in IE

    Hey guys..

I have an iframe within my html page. The links on my page are targeting the frame and are launching the corresponding flash movies there. In Firefox, this works perfectly as I use wmode=transparent to clear the background of the SWF and insert my own background color into the iframe using css. However, in IE, something is wrong. Either my SWF isn't being made transparent (I used param=wmode value=transparent) or the CSS isn't turning the background of the iframe the appropriate color.

If you wanted to take a look on different browsers, and I know there are resolution issues currently, the temporary link is http://www.thearenafirst.com/temp.html

    Thanks for your help!

Instead of an iFrame, why don't you use divs? Flash animation takes a long time to download (not everyone has high-speed broadband). Besides it will be easier to insert your Flash movie into a div / divs, you can code the backgrounds for the divs, too. (BTW - you DO use swfobject to code in your Flash movies, don't you? Just discovered it - thanks again VIP!)
