    IE6: float clearing problem.

    at http://tinyurl.com/5hwk6r

    You can see the left hand side column has multiple sections which in all other browsers seperate fine with the border-bottom:dotted;

    However in IE6 the <br /> which has clear:both; doesn't seem to force the div to wrap around the 2 floating columns within it.

    hope someone can help...

    I'd drop all those <br>s between the .left-navs and add a CSS like
    Code:
    #content .left-nav:after{/*for FF */
    		content:" ";
    		display:block;
    		clear:both;
    		}
    		#content .left-nav{/* for IE*/
    		height:1%;
    		}
    See www.positioniseverything.net/easyclearing.html for details
