    query string ignored the table width

    hi guys,
    I have found something weired when one test comment has been posted .
    the query ignored the table width and now the page is stretched in IE and firefox but in opera it works fine.

    Code:
    <table width="470" align="center"  style="padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px;" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
    			<tr><td width="470" style="border-bottom:1px #FFFFFF dotted"><table width="470" align="center"  style="padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
    			<tr>
    				<td style="font-weight: bold; line-height: 13px; font-size: 11px; color:#FFCC29; width: 307px; padding-right: 10px" align="right">
    				Monday, 02.25.08 @ 06:50am</td>
    				<td style="font-weight: bold; line-height: 15px; font-size: 13px; padding-bottom: 5px" align="center" class="txt_orange_bold">
    				skmd</td>
    			</tr>
    			<tr width="350">
    				<td width="350px" align="right" valign="top" style=" padding: 10px 10px 10px 10px; color: #FFFFFF" rowspan="2" class="txt_grey_b">
    				<p>http://localhost/images/loadingAnimation.gifhttp://localhoshttp://t/mages/loadingAnimation.gifhttp://localhost/imagehttp://localhost/images/loadingAnimation.gif http://localhost/images/loadingAnimation.gifs/loadingAnimation.gift/images/loadingAnimation.gif</p></td>
    				<td width="120" align="center" >
    				<img src="files/users/5.jpg" alt=""> </td>
    			</tr>
    			<tr>
    				<td align="center" style="color: #FFFFFF; padding-bottom: 5px">194:المشاركات</td>
    			</tr>
    			<tr>
    				<td  style="color: #FFFFFF; padding-bottom: 5px" align="left" height="29"><a alt="مسح" href="?do=edit_comment&id=13&cid=212"><img src="images/edit.gif" alt="تعديل"/></a>
    				<a alt="مسح" href="delete.php?type=news_comment&id=13&cid=212"><img src="images/del.gif" alt="مسح"/></a></td>
    			</tr>
    			</table></td></tr></table>
    how can I make it to wrap the query with its limited width??

    ok, the main table, the one that holds everything, what size are you trying to make it? I was looking in IE. Which table is giving you the problems?

    The whole table must be 470px and the comment <td> (which contain "http://localhost/im......." ) must be 350px

    could you not just make the second table this size?

    Code:
    <table width="350" border="1" align="center"  style="padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
    			<tr>
    				<td style="font-weight: bold; line-height: 13px; font-size: 11px; color:#FFCC29; width: 307px; padding-right: 10px" align="right">
    				Monday, 02.25.08 @ 06:50am</td>
    				<td style="font-weight: bold; line-height: 15px; font-size: 13px; padding-bottom: 5px" align="center" class="txt_orange_bold">
    				skmd</td>
    			</tr>
    			<tr width="350">
    				<td width="350px" align="right" valign="top" style=" padding: 10px 10px 10px 10px; color: #FFFFFF" rowspan="2" class="txt_grey_b">
    				<p>http://localhost/images/loadingAnimation.gif http://localhoshttp://localhost/images/loadingAnimation.gif http://localhost/imagehttp://localhost/images/loadingAnimation.gif http://localhost/images/loadingAnimation.gifs/loadingAnimation.gift/images/loadingAnimation.gif</p></td>
    				<td width="120" align="center" >
    				<img src="files/users/5.jpg" alt=""> </td>
    			</tr>
    			<tr>
    				<td align="center" style="color: #FFFFFF; padding-bottom: 5px">194:المشاركات</td>
    			</tr>
    			<tr>
    				<td  style="color: #FFFFFF; padding-bottom: 5px" align="left" height="29"><a alt="مسح" href="?do=edit_comment&id=13&cid=212"><img src="images/edit.gif" alt="تعديل"/></a>
    				<a alt="مسح" href="delete.php?type=news_comment&id=13&cid=212"><img src="images/del.gif" alt="مسح"/></a></td>

    well with tables in html, you cant have to columns, one on top and the other under it, a different size, unless maybe you could rig it for colspans. But there is no way to change the size to be different in each. You would be better off doing it in CSS!
