    News listing

I made a previous post on this but I think my idea was in the wrong place.

The main page of my site has a flash section. It is part of the main page, not the intro.

Under the flash banner, I want to have a news section. I only wanted 10 or so news topics per page. However, at the moment if I have, for agrument sake, index2.html containing topics 11-20 of news. However when I switch to index2.html the flash banner has to reload.

I don't want to use javascript, or at least would prefer not to.

The best example I can give:

Have you ever seen a website that had a news listing, and at the bottom it would show : 1|2|3|4|5|6|last, etc. Thats what I am looking to do.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Someone suggested AJAX before but at the moment I only know the minimum about java, css, and html, and feel breaching that and going to AJAX would ultimately slow my learning curve down quite a bit.

    Thanks in advance,

You can archieve that with the Cutenews news system. It's freeware and is easy to setup, manage and inoperate into your current layout. You can also chose how many news you want to show.

Do a google search and you'll see. Oh, and it uses PHP, not javascript.
