Site breaks while using min-width - layout problem

I am trying to figure out a fix to my webpage located here - http://www.auriasdesign.com/troystum...indextest.html

the layout looks fine when maximized and plenty of white space, however, when the browser window is reduced down a lot, the layout falls apart. can someone direct me to a solution to this? (it renders very strangely in mozilla). i am using min-width. i am coding the site for resolutions 800 x 600 and 1024 x 768

    thanks,
    troy

thank you, but that is not a fix. can anyone direct me to fixing this problem. it has to be within my code somewhere. no matter how small my browser window becomes, it should produce a scrollbar and everything should be normal. it doesnt do that properly.

    Hello troystump,
It seems to work fine in IE7. IE6 breaks it I'm sure, as that browser doesn't support min/max widths. Firefox makes it look like float drop...

Have a look at a min width solution I've been trying to adapt for a VERY long time at http://nopeople.com/CSS/min-width-CSS/. Just coincindence that it's another hair dresser site, haha!
Have a look at the code though, you might be able to use it on your page. Works in IE7, IE6 and Firefox - and it validates.
Validate often DURING development - Use it like a splelchecker | Debug during Development |Write it for FireFox, ignore IE
Use the right DocType | Validate your markup | Validate your CSS | Why validating is good | Why tables are bad
