    Internet Explorer Background Problem

    Ok, Well on my wordpress I tried editing the CSS, but now the background only displays in FF and not IE. I have no idea if I messed up the code or what...

    Code:
    body {
    	font-size: 62.5%; /* Resets 1em to 10px */
    	font-family: 'Lucida Grande', Verdana, Arial, Sans-Serif;
    	background: url(http://notre.pakman20.com/images2/bg-body.png)top repeat-x center;
    	background-color: #F4F4F4;
    	margin: 0;
    	padding: 0;
    	color: #333;
    	text-align: center;
    	}

    It might be barfing because you split the offset keywords with the repeat statement.

    Try:

    Code:
    body {
    	font-size: 62.5%; /* Resets 1em to 10px */
    	font-family: 'Lucida Grande', Verdana, Arial, Sans-Serif;
    	background: #f4f4f4 url(http://notre.pakman20.com/images2/bg-body.png) center top repeat-x;
    	margin: 0;
    	padding: 0;
    	color: #333;
    	text-align: center;
    	}

    I suppose you were right, anyway what'd you do to make it work?

    you had:
    Code:
    background: url(http://notre.pakman20.com/images2/bg-body.png)top repeat-x center;
    he put:
    Code:
    background: #f4f4f4 url(http://notre.pakman20.com/images2/bg-body.png) center top repeat-x;
    the top center should be in order. the repeat-x interuppted it an IE glitched.
    Stop making things so hard on yourself.
