Rounded corners on a diagonal background?

    Hi all.

Got a problem that i cant quite get my head around as to the best way to tackle it.

basically, i want to have a rounded corner box which will sit on a background {body} containing diagonal stripes.

this box i centered on the page - but the big quiz comes as i cannot use javascript OR a PNG solution - basically im stuck with our good ol friend - the transparent gif.

obviouly the fewer jaggies - the better.

thanx to all who can help.

If the rounded corners are done properly then you shouldn't have that many jaggies. What are you using to create your rounded corners?

Out of curiosity why can't you use JS or PNGs?

When exporting your transparent GIF the matte should be one of the background colors (probably the darker one) so the semi transparent pixels will be colored close to that striped background. And as Aero said if it’s done properly you would barely notice that the stripes stop before the corner (because it’s just like one pixel).
