    Three columns right for this layout?

    Here is what I wish to do, please take a look at NZBMatrix . Com

    The far left column looks just like a single column, yet it has multiple boxes that looks like they are all floated to the left. I created a version of this on my own using 3 <div>'s each with a seperate class and floating them to the left. Is this the best way to do it?

    I guess what I am asking is this what the creator of NZBMatrix . com did, or did he use a single <div> for the column, and just create seperate boxes with borders?

    Any advice/input/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    Use a div put 3 more divs in it. Don't float each div. Just float the main div. Give it a width, the other boxes will fall into place.
