    Image Enlargement on Mouse Hover

    Hi,

I'm looking for any resources on how to get image enlargements to appear on mouse over, similar to http://www.istockphoto.com/file_browse.php

Can this be done with CSS and a bit of Javascript perhaps?

Any help would be much appreciated!

This could be done with pure CSS, but there would be at least one issue: the box would not move with the mouse cursor as it moves around over a given thumbnail, but would simply appear on hover and stay still.

If you want to maintain an identical effect, you’d need JavaScript.
For every complex problem, there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

    Hello magicpaul,
The CSS only method is called a Disjointed RollOver.
Here is a pretty simple example.
Validate often DURING development - Use it like a splelchecker | Debug during Development |Write it for FireFox, ignore IE
Use the right DocType | Validate your markup | Validate your CSS | Why validating is good | Why tables are bad
