    Question hey all, im new. quick question.

    hey guys and gals,

    glad to be here. a slap on the head for me for why i didn't join this forum earlier. lol

    I know it's against bad practice to use tables but i was just wondering if someone could have a quick look at the code for this page for me?

    http://digitalthoughts.co.uk/Flex/ho...contactus.html

    It looks perfect in Firefox but in IE it looks really awkward. I can't figure this one out at all.

    Thanks for your help all.

    Hello hawarkarem,
    I don't mean to sound harsh but it never really stood a chance:
    Result: Failed validation, 91 errors

    Don't let that scare you off though - if you want help recoding it, your in the right place!
    Validate often DURING development - Use it like a splelchecker | Debug during Development |Write it for FireFox, ignore IE
    Use the right DocType | Validate your markup | Validate your CSS | Why validating is good | Why tables are bad

    You are using the wrong doctype. Try using an HTML Strict doctype. If you don't know what a doctype is then you need to do some more html tutorials.

    A rule of thumb: Search before asking. Such questions have been asked a million times.
    By the way: if you would do it with CSS it would be td {vertical-align: top;}
