    Triggering hover from another hover

    if I have css like this:

    Code:
    button1:hover
    {background .....
      ....
    }
    is it possible that on hover on button1, the hover event would be
    triggered on button2 too ?

    Not sure... It may be possible in CSS but the only way is to use the same class.

    CSS:

    Code:
    input.button:hover {
    background-color: #ff0000;
    }
    XHTML:

    Code:
    <input class="button" type="submit" name="submit1" />
    <input class="button" type="submit" name="submit2" />
    I doubt it, but go ahead and try it. If it doesn't work, try using Google. Search something relative to JavaScript.

    Nope. The point is that I have three divs, which will combined form button with round corners(side divs pictures of round corners). On hover on any of them hover should be triggered on the rest two of them (change of picture in all of them --> raised, .....)

    So your sample wouldn't work. Did some googling but no luck.

    Any other ideas ?

    here is the link where I have gotten the idea. But I want buttons of variable width
    (and with smaller sourcepictures possible, no need to mention (-: )
