    Viewing document outside Internet Explorer

    Hi,

    Microsoft Internet Explorer issue.

When you click on a link to a document (i.e. word, pdf file) the document is opened inside MIE. For some pdf files opening inside MIE the graphics in the pdf are loading very slow. I want to fix this problem by having the file opened in the default pdf viewer outside of MIE.

Is there any code to add to the HTML file that forces MIE to open the document outside?

You always can open the link in a target="_blank" new window

Opening the *.pdf document in another Internet Explorer window don't make much difference. I want to prevent Acrobat Reader from opening inside MIE, and instead open outside the browser like it does in Netscape or Opera.
