It depends on the quality of the work and the purpose of the logo but I’ve heard people design logos for like 500–1000 Dollars. A company logo is not a trivial thing as it is supposed to be the icon of the company.

    Good evening Stephan,

I'm building a site which is going to be my 'homepage' for advertising myself as a developer, just something to try and earn some extra cash on the side in my spare time after work.

    This is the site: http://tspv-websites.co.uk/?page=Home

I know what text I want but I need someone who can put a few ideas my way.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

    Kind regards,

    LC.

It depends on. If you want your website look different and professional and want to use your logo to explain the culture of your website, then it is worth doing that.

On the other hand, if you just want to create a normal website, then it is expensive. My suggestion is that there are many free logo maker, you can use them to create a logo on your own.

    Thanks for the feedback.

I didn't think the color was too bad, I can read it perfect but I suppose a higher contrast would be better.

    Kind regards,

    LC.

Use the W3C HTML Validator and CSS Validator to check your code and Firebug to see what css is applied to an element

I don't recommend much, but I do recommend Clook for UK web hosting
