    best video conversion

    Hello all:

Don't know exactly where this subject belongs but if anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd be very grateful. What I'm wondering is with so many video extensions, which one is the best as far as minimum MB to send via email. What I'm trying to do is send a .mvi video I've taken (anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes) through email. The trouble is, many email providers only allow 10MB to be sent/received via email. How does this work when you see many websites showing videos?

    Thanks so much.

You already seemed to ask this question but its likely not many people have worked with .mvi. Are you sure its .mvi and not .avi? Please double check. There aren't to many converters for .mvi files.

    Hi:

Yes, I'm sure the file on my computer is .mvi format. Should I convert to .avi first, then send? Not really sure how to send video clip via email especially with the maximum limits (10MB) that many email providers allow. Can you help?

    Thanks

Not sure what you are asking. First convert the video of your choice. Almost whatever file type you convert it to will be about the same size. .flv format might be best though your friend will need a flv player but those are free.

sorry to be so confusing. As you can see, I'm very new to this. In your experience, what would be the best way to send a video clip to someone and is there any what to reduce the file size? Thanks.

Maybe you can post it on Google Video or some other online video hosting provider that doesn't have the 10 MB limit?

sending video thru email isn't recommended
but you could send a link to click
Zoobie or not Zoobie...That is the problem.
