    speed of video

    i'm putting a video on the web (wmv speeded)

    the video editor wants to know what speed to do it in?
    i know nothing about videos -- please advise what I tell the video guy?

    It depends on what type of connection you think the majority of your viewing audience has. Dial up, dsl, cable, t1 etc.
    What are your choices and what software are you using?

    You would be best to have at least 2 options, one exported sized 320x240 at speed around 200 kbs and another 640x480 at speed around 500 kps.

    The thing about wmv is that is supports variable speed, which is fine if you are just embedding it into a web page. His export settings should be already set to export video at Dialup and DSL optimized speeds.
