    BG Imgs Flicker?

    Hey all im sure its something really stupid but why is it that my background pattern flickers when you scroll the page? i tried saving it at different px sizes and all. Even saved as web in jpg and gif. is there a certain bitmap i need to save at? or whats the deal.

    I'm going to guess its likely a variation of vertical, horizontal, or diagonal lines. Not sure why this happens. This seems to be something browsers have trouble rendering properly. Firefox seems to be the worst. If thats not the case post a link to your page so we can see what is going one. Remember we aren't psychic.

    well you nailed it pretty good. thats what im talking about is there no special way i should be saving the "lines, small pattern" backgrounds? but ya firefox is deff the worst but IE dosent even display them right.

    Both the box and page bg look correct in FF but IE they are spaced funky and show more white lines? when there are no white pixels in them. and they flicker bad :x
