Unhappy how to create password database

    Hi all again,

We're planning to make a web magazine. Soo we'd need a basic(and simple) system to manage thousands of passwords. Create and manage them(delete if need to). I know something about sql but if anyone has any ideas or suggestions for us which could be helpful I'd really appreciate your insight. For example if there's any open source or even commercial solution for this, hints are welcomed. Cheers!

I assume that, besides passwords, you also would want to store user information?
What does your host offer in terms of server side scripting languages and database management systems (DBMSs)?

Thansk for the quick reply Ronald.

We wouldn't even need to store customer information but what I forgot to mention we'd definitely need to keep count of the password usage.
Our idea is to make a free magazine but the passwords/invitations for the web page are given in printed flyers so if some password is used from hundreds differents ips or just overused we could kill it. Since if passwords are all over the internet it would ruin the whole concept behind it.
For now since we're just starting this as an experiment we dont need complicated cms or anything. Just some system for passwords..

This is what I found about our host. But there's no problem of getting a new host for this purpose if needed.
