I don't know anything about jmeter, but I assume you've searched like this?

    HI All,

I am using Jmeter 2.3.1 and it runs on Java 6 and my application was developed on Java 4, my Question is that there is any problem while recording the script using JMeter.

Please help me out in this.

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards,
    Pradeep

JMeter doesn't have any limitations which would prevent it from being able to load test JSP pages. Just don't forget to add HTTP Cookie Manager to deal with JSESSIONID cookie. Also I guess you will need to extract javax.faces.ViewState hidden input value from the first request and pass it as a parameter to next request. See ASP.NET Login Testing with JMeter guide for details on how to do this.
