    Font size adjusting automatically

Hi there, I am making a website where I want to support many different screen resolutions.
I have a container with text, that I would like to ensure always uses exactly 3 lines of text. I have been looking at bmi-calculator-tool.com which seems to adjust the font size using CSS if you narrow the browser window.
But that website only uses about 6 different font sizes. What I need is a smooth change in font sizes. Is it possible to define a font size to be window-width times 0.01? That would be the perfect solution for me. I also imagine that javascript can be used for this, but I have no idea how.

The font-size-adjust residence adapts the font-size of the fallback print styles described with font-family, so that the x-height is the same regardless of what typeface is used. This maintains the legibility of the writing when fallback happens.
