Lightbulb what do you think on redirecting old IE users

Hi. I could use your guys opinion on what would be the most acceptable thing to do from a users point of view (desing question not a technical question).

I wan't to start using flex box's in CSS, but they are not supported on any of the older versions of IE. I have two choices here.

    1) Do a CSS media query to create two different sets of CSS, with the old IE set being a bit more clunky (lets be honest I am not going to feel like putting as much effort into it unless its a paid project, and its not)

    2) Redirect all older versions of IE users to a WordPress website that has the exact same functionality. Because I am very quick with WP the whole site would only take me half an hour to put together, leaving me with lots of time to work on my custom site. I could have a notice that they had been redirected.

I am leaning twords the later, as it would allow me to concentrate on newer techniques and I find the old ways a bit of a pain.

    All thoughts appreciated,
    Cheers,
    -Adrian

I don’t get it. What’s the trouble then? On the new site you would have to have another stylesheet anyway so why not create a separate stylesheet on the one site and saving the resources?
