Load Different Language Version Site Based on Location?

    Hi,

I am in charge of a site with 6 different languages. Right now there is just a dropdown for what language you would like to use it in.

I was hoping (this is more of an aestetically pleasing feature) that there was a way that we could locate the end users location (throughh DNS or IP) and load the version of the site that corresponds with their area. Not only is it a language thing but our for example Canadian site offers different products than our American Sites.

    Regards
    Matt

Another thought to add to your mix.... Language is not geographic, as you note with Canada. Users can set their language preference in their browser, and if you would just use that language, it would be accommodating their request. The php variable $_SERVER['HTTP_ACCEPT_LANGUAGE'] contains the language they have set.

Thank you, and as I stated it's not just the language component its that we offer certain services to Canadian members, and different things to say members in the USA. So that would be my primary reason for wanting this function
