    small help with site

    I'm building a movie website using Wordpress since my lack of knowledge towards HTML and CSS is slim. I had a look around movie4k and they state that:
    We do not host any files on our server nor we upload any movies on other hosting websites.
    Our website workes like a search engine, gathering and sorting movies from other websites and showing the embeded code or the direct link. So we are absolutely legal.

    I was wondering how am I able to do the same sort of things I have a few videos but I just embed them from YouTube, how can I embed videos from other website much like movie4k is doing? I came across this code but I don't know how to make it work I tried adding in the url didn't work.

    <video width="300" height="240" controls>
    <source src="<?=$movieURL;?>" type="video/<?=$movieFormat;?>">
    Any help would be appreciated so much!
    Thank You

    Hi
    you have to replace "<?=$movieURL;?>" with your path and clip name and extension, and
    "<?=$movieFormat;?>" with the format of the media file (avi, mp4, asf, ...etc.)

    For example, try this (a clip from my site):

    Code:
    <video width="300" height="240" controls>
    <source src="http://www.windows-addict.com/videos_videolb/video/mwc.mp4" type="video/mp4">
    Good Luck,

    Thank you, the problem I have is finding the movie file from the site?
    Movie4k.to gathers the embed code from other sites but I can't seem to gather the code from their site?

    for example this video; http://www.movie4k.to/Rush-watch-movie-4985288.html

    i've looked everywhere trying to find the source but no luck

    I really doubt they are going to allow you to gain access to their scripts. You'll have to gather the movies from other sites the same way they do. However they do that, I'm not sure. There must be some API's involved to do the embed, and each one of those "movie" sites have their own methods?

    Like mlseim said, no chance to access their codes. However, you can find out the real url and file name with a little tricky method, which involves a bit amount of work from your side, and that is using grabpro from orbit downloader.

    Hi. Just a piece of advise: movie4k is legally blocked by some ISP's, even though, like you said, they have that disclaimer. I wanted as well to stream movies, or at least to link some torrents to my page, but I really don't want my web-page blocked.
    It's just an advice, so the decision is yours.
    That's why the only 3 things in my web-page are "walking dead", "big bang theory" and "married with children" (they are coming from free tv, so...)

    All the best,
    Dorin
