    Automatically Updating HTML

    Hello,

I am an administrator of an online competition. We have been running for 10 years or so. We have a pretty decent website, but the thing that holds us up more than anything is inputting scores into the html table that shows who played who. None of us are particularly good with coding. Is there any technology we could use so that the players can automatically report their match, and if the reports agree, the match is automatically updated in the html?

    Thanks!

Basically I am trying to do a script that automates updating an html webpage that has mp3 files on it. These mp3's are from a local radio station's "swap shop" program that I am frequently unable to listen to when it is on. This is for my personal and family use only and is not for the public.

I have a bash script that records the internet radio stream each day at a specific time and puts the resulting mp3 file into a folder. Then it will check for the seven previous days and delete the seventh days mp3. Then it will regenerate the index.html file using echo "<a href=xxxxx>">>index.html and such, including the html header/body/footer info.

    Kevin,
So the part about putting the MP3 into a folder already works? You only need to delete the oldest file? Let me know if that is already working. Also, do the MP3 files happen to be in the folder in some kind of order, oldest first, or newest first?
