    Hey guys,

im working on a little project.
nothing huge, just something to keep me occupied.
problem is my layout sucks and ive tried my best and just aint getting no where.
so.... just wondering if any one on here would be interested in helping me out ?

just reply here or pm me if you fancey giving me a hand

    thanks Liam

OK. basically. i provide web hosting.
but i missed having a project, something to tweak and add too etc.

when i started doing websites about 7 years ago, i built, rpg games and fan sites.
fan sites being like "Sylvester Stallone Fansite" etc , if you get the idea?

i hadn't done any kind of website in a good couple of years and wanted a project, so i came up with an idea for a site that would provide free web hosting, and different web solutions, like free apps for your site,.. and have a forum where people can loin , chill and ask each other for help.

but with the internet being huge , i figured id get no where with it, there would be a million out there bigger and better, so i decided id make mine specifically for fan websites.

theres a couple of free fan site hosts out there, but nothing like what im aiming to make.

most of the coding is done.... the content for the info pages is written, its mainly just a matter of integrating the site into a design and getting it online. i have 2 i created which both suck..

    ill screen print both.

the main problem i have, is if i do make a good layout, i can never decide how to set the content out so it looks good. and it ends up looking awful.

would really appreciate it if any one could help.

but any questions assume the layouts Ive already done should answer

    No screenprints please ...

We need to see the real website(s).
It can make a big difference when viewing with IE, FF, Safari, etc.

A website's functionality, how it loads, the interaction with the browser is
sometimes more important than how the page looks. We have to experience
it for real to give you good advice.

So the idea is that you host fan sites for anyone who wants a fan site?
And you provide the fan site template? Or are you just doing the hosting,
and the user makes their own website?

Will your website be about the hosting, or about the fansite?
To me, it looks like you're most concerned about the hosting.

You should have one website for your hosting, and another website
for the fansite project. What if someone wants to use you as a host,
but they don't want to have a fan site?

What exactly are we supposed to do ... what was the question?

that would destroy the point of it being a fanhost.
the idea is to aim to a smaller audiance

the site is not a fansite. its a fansite host.

there are thousands of fansites out there, and the idea is that if they host
    with a fansite host.
    A. They get a great deal
    B. They get advertisement on our directory with people looking for fansites

they idea is they ask for hosting.
    i give it to them
    they build they're own website.
they're website gets listed in our directory and advertsided randomly on our main page.

all as i provide is hosting
it offers hosting. if some one just wants regular hosting , i provide that any way, but this is a separate project.
