    Tripod Problems

Is anyone having any problems with Tripod? I use it and it is telling me I'm using 15 mb a day bandwidth. Whether that is true or not, it is monthly bandwidth. But they have not been resetting and won't tell me what days are over the limit...because it doesn't tell you what the limit is. They also don't respond to their help emails without pasting the same useless junk in email.

So what's a good free host? I'd go with freewebs for 100 mb free space with no ads, but they also give no more than 100 mb monthly bandwidth.

Just FYI, Angelfire (a part of Lycos & Tripod) gave me that same problem a few times. Says I'm over my limit... but with my sites only getting about 2-7 visitors per day - I don't think so!

Isn't that a contradiction in terms?

Zoobie or not Zoobie...That is the problem.

I'm trying web1000. I hope I don't need an ftp program. I can't fit one in my pocket all the time, so filemanagers are important.

I heard that brinkster has terrible bandwidth though. I care more about space than bandwidth. I've had no problem living on 20 mb, but it's the bandwidth that goes fast. According to tripod's lies, I have used 350 mb this month.

Have a look at f2o.org - they have pretty good terms for a free service.
