    Can anyone....

Can anyone here make a guide on how to make a registration and login systen, with admin accounts an options. I'm new to MySQL, and I really need help. A guide would be good.

And I don't want to some gay guide that shows you how to make the Registration and Login syste, etc, without showing how to upload it to your webhost, and the link to the FREE webhost you use, etc.

I keep getting stuiped tutorials where they don't even show what to do with your hosting account.

    Buckey ...

There are many different web hosting accounts, some free, some not.
Some have a control panel where you can upload, most of us use an FTP
program (FileZilla) to handle file transfers. So your thoughts on us showing how
to upload can't really be done.

    1) You need to use your webhost's site or control panel to create a MySQL database.
    host, user, password, database name

    2) You need to enter those parameters into any PHP script you're using.

    3) Uploading scripts using FTP?

so, the hosting part ... you're sort of on your own.

Don't give up so fast ...
If you've had any programming experience at all (Javascripting, BASIC),
you can learn PHP. Or, you could take a class somewhere.

    SRBuckey5266,

The main advice I can give you is that understanding the concept/idea of what you want
to achieve is already being half-way to your goal. As far as languages are concerned,
take a look at this very good beginner level link: www.w3schools.com

You can start learning PHP there, as well as many other things. Take it nice and slow, and don't
try to grasp everything in one shot.

Nah I'm with you SRBuckey5266, just forget about web development. Your attitude sucks and until that changes, you won't accomplish or learn anything.

I've made at least a dozen of them. You could use of my pre-scripted ones.
Rowsdower! has accused me of having mental problems, and the administrator allowed it. What a great forum huh?

    Buckey ...

    Start by getting the database.
Set up a new MySQL database on your webhost.

Then, with masterofollie's script, we can walk you through it.
