Filling a page from Database Info
I'm looking to populate a web page via querying a database. I'm looking for what options/languages I can look at. I've done this before once with Cold Fusion when I was helping someone out. I also know it can be done through FP using ASP.
What other options are there and what is required server-side for them to work? The website is currelty on an Apache/Unix server but I haven't been able to get any other information than that yet.
Any and all ideas would be great.

Oh the options. Well basically you'll need to know 2 things:
1) Server side processing available
2) Database available
Options for 1 can be:
ASP, ASP.net, PERL, PHP, JSP, Servlets, + more
Options for 2 can be:
Access, MySQL, SQL Server, DB2, Oracle, Postgre, + more
You can pretty much pick anything from 1 to work with anything on 2, but some of the more common combos are:
PHP + mySQL (for UNIX)
ASP + Access / SQL Server (for Windows)
