www.freehostia.com is a free decent webhost and should be okay for your needs. You do need to renew it once a here but they send you reminders before your account expires.

I know you're looking for a free webhost, but really, for only $30-35 per year (yes, per year),
you can have a REAL website with your own domain name. A webhosting account with
no ads, no banners and with many emails, MySQL databases, etc. That ends up being about $2.50
per month ... what you pay for one Latte at Starbucks.

    Such hosts as, www.cleverdot.com, www.1and1.com

Get your own REAL web hosting and use it for your own development, experimenting,
learning, and most of all, for the fun of it! You'll be glad you did.

I've used www.3ix.com in the past and it's the same price as that. Pretty sure $1 a month is value for money.

there are loads of places which you can host your site freely but they do put ads on your website. I personally go for paid hosting with major companies like goDaddy and hostGator. but thats about $4 a month. Long time back I used to get hosting from eBay offers, and got quality hosting for about $10 a year. make sure you check the sellers rating before you buy

Are you planning to get a .com for your website. then have a read at best places to register domains article as they have loads of coupons to use at major domain registration companies such as goDaddy to get discounted prices

    http://www.***************/

There you get 250MB free space with no ads, FTP, CPanel and practically everything you would want.

Although I still recommend you pay the little extra and get paid hosting of your own.

I have all my sites at 000webhost and can also recommend them. I think it's 350MB free space even though the home page states 250MB.
