    Is this any use.

    Here we go.

    Here we go again.

    And another one here.

    •reads PDF files (doesn't require Adobe Acrobat to be installed) and extracts text to HTML, CHM, RTF (MS Word doesn't need to be installed), DOC (MS Word), HLP, DBF, XML, CSV, XLS (MS Excel), MDB (MS Access), DB (Paradox), TXT (ANSI and Unicode);
    •extracts general information from PDF files (title, subject, author, keywords, creator, producer);
    •extracts information about the security preferences from PDF files (security method, open password, security password, printing, changing the document, selecting text and graphics, adding or changing annotations and form fields);
    •includes PDF information in the output file;

    Get smartftp, upload the file(s) to the web server. Right click then rename. It should start off at the end of the file name. Go to the very end of the file name and erase the file type. DO NOT ERASE THE DOT.

    Since you want a .chm, add chm and hit enter!

    This was successfully done with a .gif to a .png, so it should work =/

    Just changing the extension doesn't actually change the contents of the file. I'm not sure what you were thinking there.

    Just because the image still displayed when you changed a filename from .gif to .png just means whatever program was displaying it was smart enough to see what the actual file was despite the extension.
