    [Hosting] Really important.

I am looking for a hosting package, that offers a lot.

I have £500/month (~$750 USD) max spending limit.

Post up any sites that you can find. I need a very high bandwidth limit, and huge webspace. MUST support ASP, PHP.

I have looked at www.venturesonline.com and it is not good enough - so that is out the window.

So is: http://www.rackshack.net/english/xeon.asp (I may need more than 1tb/month)

    Please note:

Currently we have had an average of 1500 unique hits per hour, and well over 800,000 hits over the last 12 days (haven't checked it since the 7th). We have used over 4GB worth of bandwidth also since February 1 2003.

Ionsurge will have huge image galleries, along with various programs for download. (So bandwidth and space is of great importance). No SSL needed.

    Thanks,

From basic stuff, calculators, addressbooks, etc, to programs using advanced database management systems.

They range from a few meg in size to a few hundred. 220mb being the largest one.

Also shareware and freeware programs will be available.

    Nothing illegal, or questionable.

If you've got that kind of money, and need that much bandwidth, why not set up your own? I'm assuming your on a lan connection, check the specs on your connection and see if you can set up your own server.

I havent got the experience, and the knowledge as to how to make and run a server, and apply legal factors either.

I have no idea as to where I should start, so that is why I am going for paid hosting, via dedicated servers.

So far I have been offered:

    Dell machine:

    Intel Xeon 2.0 GHz Processor
    1 GB RD RAM
73 GB SCSI drive (selected by us, instead of 20 + 60GB IDE Drives)
    RAID Controllers
    300kb/s pipeline
    Unlimited bandwidth

(+ a lot of other stuff that I can't remember off my head)

All comes to ~900 Canadian dollars, about £365, and $600 per month.

If anyone can find anything better, give me a shout.

I looked at hosting-talk, and that has no site that has even slightly powerful enough servers there.

Looking at the other one now.

    www.4webspace.com - out the window

What site is it you are hosting? Surely not that one in your profile... - why what is wrong with it? Anyhow, it may be redesigned completely finally once and for all.

@ Relyt - looked at it... that went out the window a few days ago.

Thanks for the suggestions so far guys...
