    File Downloading

I am making a simple website for people on my LAN to get files from my easily.
For movies and games I have choose to do a simple single file download.
But for Music I want them to be able to Download multiple songs. Like download an album or simply single songs.

What is the easiest way to accomplish this?

Archive the file in something like ZIP, which has the added bonus of compressing it.

Only problem is that I use want to leave the files uncompressed because I also use them.
Is there like a way to zip stuff on the fly and it will let the person download it.
    Ex.
You have a browser of the folder.
They check a checkbox or something like that.
    They click download.
The script or what ever will zip it on the fly
    It downloads.

You could do it with the ZIP functions in PHP.

you could build a playlist and have them download that.
it would arrive instantly, and the songs will come in as needed.

If they are on your LAN, why are you setting up a website?
