    first web deployment

i want to deploy a small site on net. should i have to consult any ISP for its deployment? i have seen many site that provide space and domain name, are all they ISPs and are they secure?
i m good at coding and designing but newbie in deployment and security.
how can deploy my site on net?
i have made my site in asp.net. Is there any site that provide really free space for testing the site.
any points to ponder while deploying it?

The thing with asp.net is to host it, its not free. There are very few hosts that host asp.net code. Do a search for them. There are however many php/mysql hosts that are free. Some not but the cost of hosting isn't much. How are you currently running your site if its asp.net? Are you using IIS?

The main reason there isn't much free ASP.net hosting is that it requires the host to run Windows Server (as opposed to Linux) which is much more expensive.

It'll be real tough to find a web hosting provider to provide you free web site that supports .NET (for reasons previously mentioned). But, you can always search through Google to see what you can find:

Check out Brinkster. I can remember then offering free ASP hosting back in the 90s.

Also, there are some others listed at www.vistainter.com.

    Good luck.
