    Is this possible?

    Hi

Not sure if this is the right place to post, but I'm sure this would involve html.

I'm creating a small ebook about my travel adventures, and I want to have widget based elements in it. I want these widgets to be live, so that they are updated whenever the user is connected to the internet while reading the book.

The widgets would be updated by me at will on my website, and the ebook would then retrieve the widget info whenever the reader lands on a page with that widget.

The widgets I want to embed are text and flash video/audio based, to keep the reader updated on my travels and adventures.

Is this possible? Do you know of software that can embed live widget type elements into pdfs? If not pdf, is there another way to make an attractive ebook that has this functionality?

    Cheers

    Shaun

Have you thought about using WordPress?

With that, people can use the RSS feeds to see if any new items are added,
and WordPress can be customized to look like anything, even a book.
