    Best webpage location?

    Hello,

I'm trying to figure out what the best location for web pages is. I dont know what most people prefer so im hoping you guys know. From the top of my head i can think of these example locations:
    • domain.com/index.php
    • domain.com/home/
    • domain.com/index.php?Services
What way do people like the most and what way is the more logical and organizable?

    Thank you
    Not much, but its something.

It's a matter of personal preference but the second one is basically like the first one, just in a sub directory (in this case the “/home” directory) of the server root. If you don’t have any good reason to put it there (i.e. you could sort things like your blog in a /blog directory and your forum in a /forum directory, to keep things clean on your server) why would you do it?

And the last one has almost nothing to do with the location. That’s just a regular php file in the root directory of your server with some parameter added.

Oh, it just comes to my mind that you may be wondering about search engine friendly (i.e. pretty) URLs? If that’s the case any of the two first ones is fine as long as it pretends to be a static URL (which the third one doesn’t).

The second one is what i have now. Its just a folder for each page with a index.php in it. But I guess ill just go with the first one, unless anyone has any objections?.....

    Thank you
