Trouble finding good loading bar script. Do u know any?

I’ve been browsing for quite sometime looking for a script for a good loading bar. I’ve been unimpressed and disappointed with what I found: many get stuck and won’t close once the page has loaded, while others are very limited in terms of design and editing it. Please, if anyone has examples of scripts for trouble-free bars (if possible, the kind that also shows the loading progress) that can also be designed to my liking, can you share? Better yet maybe you can direct me to a few sites with examples? Thanks.

This is a good place to start, but depending on your level of comfortability with scripts it might not help. It has a good visual interface, I believe you'll just need to figure out how to manipulate the progress bar using Javascript to detect the loading of the elements in your page

Well, I dont kno about loading BARS, but i now many sites with good loading GIF animations, as well as a one site that has a loading message that appears onLoad. Iv implemented both on my website. (http://www.excalo.com/images)
just so u kno i ddnt use it on my homepage cuz it interfered with another script -- so this might not be the best in all cases.

As for the script, i found it @ http://javascript.internet.com/css/p...g-message.html
you can style it however you want as for the images my favorite site for loading animations is @ http://www.ajaxload.info/ although there are many many mor, just google search for "ajax loading icons'.

    Hope i helped!

YES! That is quite close to what I need. I'm trying to use it now, and thank you for your help
