    redirecting mobile phone visitors

    How do i make it so that if someone visits my websites using a mobile it will redirect them instantly to a mobile lite version of my website. do i just add a seperate style sheet with the type set to pda?

    would be the way for a different stylesheet. Actually sniffing out a mobile device and doing a redirect...not sure.

    I think they use there own browser and/or IP address, then you would use PHP to detect the browser and/or IP and redirect. I have never done this and am just assuming that this might be one solution.

    That's how I would do it unless the mobile phone users would be receiving content - different from the main site - perhaps tailored for them.

    If the content is the same and the only differecne really is their media device, I think the specific CSS is the better way.
