    Mail Form Info without server side handler?

    Is there a way to send form mail info to an email address from the client and bypass form handlers?

    There is an extension (DynamicForm), but it's not working in DW MX.

    Help me please.

    Cheers, JuRe

    In the action field of your form tag you would use "mailto" like this:
    <FORM NAME="email" METHOD="post" ACTION="mailto:email@me.com" ENCTYPE="text/plain">

    Bad idea...very unprofessional and a target for spam bots.
    Zoobie or not Zoobie...That is the problem.

    I believe that Jure would like a form that is submitted directly to an email address without CGI. I don't think this can be done.

    requestcodes solution doesn't work because when the user submits the form the email client will be opened. If the computer isn't set up for email, such as at a library, you are out of luck. You have to open up your email, such as Hotmail, and cut and paste the forms contents into it and then send it.

    I think I am on the right track in answering this question.
